Working Machinery at the Fingal Vintage Society Show
The 2008 Fingal Vintage Show held in July proved to be the biggest yet! Organised by courtesy of the Hoey Family, the lines of vintage and classic trucks, cars and steam powered vehicles were swelled by the presence of the Ford and Fordson Expo 2008, the first time this annual event had been held outside of the UK mainland.
Focusing on the working tractors and machinery, this programme brings you all the action from the two day show, including the largest number of Doe tandem tractors ever to be seen working together in Ireland. With Fordson, Ford, Muir Hill and County tractors all seen at work, as well as vintage ploughing, classic combines, steam ploughing and of course the amazing Ford 7610 and Ransomes push-pull plough.
Many other tractor makes were also present including John Deere, Massey Ferguson, Fiat, David Brown and Roadless to name just a few! In addition to all these, were over 400 Ford and Fordson tractors and their derivatives.
