New Performance
This issue is rather special as it contains no less than eight old Ford films. We start with the superb ‘New Performance’ series of tractors which boasted Ford’s “largest product improvements without a complete model change”. We also celebrate the launch of the famous Ford 6X range, the first tractors to be built in the UK to carry the Ford badge. To recognise the new thousand series Ford organised a country-wide demonstration tour which was captured in ‘Showing the way’. Also featured are two wonderful Ford films which are real ‘gems’ from a much earlier period.
